Fees & Bulk Billing

Stirk Medical Group is a mixed billing practice. Fees are outlined as per the fee table below.
All billing on Saturdays will be billed privately - no bulk billing.
Please note that as independent contractors billing is at the discretion of each Doctor.


Bulk Billing for Chronic Disease Management Plans (Care Plan) and Health Assessments (HA) apply across all locations.

Making Payments

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card. All workers compensation and motor vehicle accident patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation until a letter of liability is produced from their insurance company.

Appointments

Our appointment system caters for standard face to face, long face to face, telehealth video and phone consults, skin checks, workers compensation, vaccines and preventative healthcare. If you need more time with your Doctor, please arrange an extended consultation when booking your appointment.

DNA Policy (Missed Appointments)

Stirk Medical Centre offers patients flexibility when booking or rescheduling appointments. You can cancel or change your appointment without incurring any fees, we simply ask you to notify us within 2 hours of your appointment time. Bookings made online can easily be managed through HotDoc. Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 2 hours’ notice will incur a fee of $50.00. Fees are charged automatically, if you feel you have extraordinary or emergency circumstances, please discuss with your Doctor who will give your matter due consideration. Our reception staff are unable to make decisions on behalf of the Doctors.

Waiting Times

Sometimes GPs are delayed by patients with urgent or complex issues. We apologise if you’re asked to wait and thank you for your patience.

After Hours

We use an after hours service called Dial-A-Doctor. Please call 1300 030 030 to arrange an after hours urgent appointment or visit www.dial-a-doctor.com.au

Home Visits

If you are a regular patient and can’t travel to one of our locations, your Doctor may be able to visit you at your home. This is at the discretion of your Doctor.
